Christoph J. Frick is the long-standing former Senior Political Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Principality of Liechtenstein, a marketing and communications expert, and has spent the last eight years working very intensively and at the highest political level on the development and active promotion of innovation & digitization and the potential of new technologies as well as media and public relations work in the Ministry of General Government Affairs and Finance. In doing so, he played a central role in various innovation promotion initiatives and governmental digitalization projects in Liechtenstein. For more than three years, the economist and digital leader has also been investigating and researching, together with professors from the Institute of Information Systems at the University of Liechtenstein, how the enormous speed and scale of the digital transformation can be taken up and how the resulting opportunities can be used across the board in the interaction between business, governments and academia to strengthen innovation, regulation and education. In this context, the creation of value through new digital technologies is the focus of his research. To this end, Christoph J. Frick founded the “Liechtenstein Consortium for Digital Capital Creation (LCDCC)” together with other scientists in December 2018, which, among other things, is working intensively on the innovation system and the Blockchain Act in Liechtenstein. Before joining the government, Christoph J. Frick worked in various other industries such as the construction industry, management consulting, various financial services companies and as a diplomat at the United Nations in New York, where he further expanded his international network.
