Thomas Nägele is a lawyer, entrepreneur, IT specialist, lecturer, speaker and author of numerous publications. As a lawyer, he advises international financial, technology and industrial companies in the areas of Blockchain/DLT, telecommunications and the Internet, as well as public institutions. He deals extensively with Internet/IT law as well as civil and corporate law and also provides related legal advice. Thomas Nägele was a member of the working group of the government of the Principality of Liechtenstein that drafted the TVTG (also called Blockchain Law). In 2019, Thomas Nägele advised the SET – Stock Exchange of Thailand in the context of their “Digital Asset Thought Leadership”. Among other things, he published as an author various relevant jurisprudential articles in the IT/Blockchain area for, among others, Liechtensteinische Juristenzeitung and Trusts & Trustees. Furthermore, he is the author of the chapter ” ICO’s und STO’s im liechtensteinischen Recht ” in ” Blockchain rules ” by Piska, Christian, Völkel, Oliver, published by MANZ Verlag 2019. In 2020, the monograph “Sekundärmarkt für Security Token” was published by Jan Sramek Verlag.

Due to his years of professional experience and expertise in technology law, he is a welcome speaker and moderator at home and abroad, including at Consensus: Distributed (Virtual Conference, 2020), DCARPE Alliance First Annual Disclose Conference (New York, 2019), Blockchain for Impact Global Summit at the United Nations (New York, 2019), CEPS-ECRI Meeting “What laws for the token economy?” (Brussels, 2019), Token Summit III (New York, 2018). Furthermore, he was speaker at the UNECE Online Conference (2020), as well as speaker and panel moderator at the CV Summit 2020 during the WEF in Davos. Thomas Nägele also teaches IT law at the University of Liechtenstein, most recently as a lecturer, and gives expert lectures at the Universities of St. Gallen, Lausanne and various other educational institutions.
